At Last, The Kinect xbox 360 is here!!!!
Kinect xbox 360 Reviewed Kinect, will allow you to play games in conjunction with a simple user interface that will read your body movements, hand gestures and spoken commands to control the game characters. Fitted with a motion sensor, Kinect records your movements with the help of an RGB camera, a depth sensor, and a microphone for your verbal commands.
Kinect can capture 3D motion, performing face and voice recognition. The user interface is utilised through voice commands and hand gestures. Just giving a flick of the hand will allow you to control the system, making this the first time this kind of technology has arrived in the gaming world.
The new Kinect accessory simply connects to the Xbox 360 console allowing players to enjoy the pleasure and freedom of hands free gaming. The system brings games and entertainment to life in extraordinary new ways – no controller required. Easy to use and instantly fun, Kinect xbox 360 gets everyone off the couch. Want to join a friend in the fun? Simply jump in.
And the best part is Kinect works with every Xbox 360®.Almost every single title Microsoft is showing for its new camera-based motion controller at the Electronic Entertainment Expo here is meant to work your whole body. There are Fitness games like Your Shape which are built around cardio, and you’d be foolish to think Kinect Sports wasn’t going to make you run in place and jump over hurdles.
But full-body exercise lurks everywhere in the Kinect launch lineup. Harmonix’s dancing game, Dance Central, gets you jumping from side to side. In Kinect Joy Ride, you’re leaning into turns and contorting your body to make your go-kart do stunt flips. Ever try to outrun a tiger? It’s tiring.Even the cute furry animals of Kinectimals don’t seem so cute anymore, once they drag you through a whole race course.
Active videogames that get you off the couch and moving around have been a big hit on the Wii and have done a lot for gaming’s image. The stereotype of the sedentary couch potato eating pizza, drinking coke doesn’t hold true when you look at the record-breaking sales of Wii Fit and Just Dance. So it should be no surprise that Microsoft and its third-party software partners are chasing casual-gaming dollars with their first batch of Kinect games.
Previously named Project natal, Kinect is the latest accessory from Microsoft designed to work with the Xbox 360 console. Kinect succinctly allows you to communicate with the Xbox 360 console without the need for any controllers or gaming devices… you are the controller! The best thing is you only need connect the kinect system to your existing xbox and your away.
The unique selling point of this new device from Microsoft lies in the fact that you do not need to buy another separate gaming console. Kinect works with all Xbox 360 consoles, you must have a minimum storage space of 175 MB. Simply plug Kinect into your Xbox 360 and you are ready to go.
16 launch titles for Kinect xbox 360 have been announced, along with several other titles which have been confirmed to support the technology. These are some of the games available, Joy Ride, Dance Central, Kinect Sports, Zumba Fitness and Kinectimals, With many more title on the way in the near future. And the future is kinect!!!!
The Best Upcoming Games for Xbox 360 in 2010 – 2011
Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?
Apparently i’m in this typical dilemma of which one of these two I should purchase. Because there are many factors that determine which is better generally, that is not what I ask. I rather ask what would be better for me. I care about graphics, but I am not after the smallest detail of perfection. I am mainly concerned about the exclusive titles of each console, as I’ve heard many people claim that this whole comparison boils down to what games one likes. I don’t really like first person shooters or war games and stuff, I’m more into rpg games, adventures, action, horror… games like castlevania, zelda, metal gear, final fantasy and silent hill have always been on my top list. Thanks for your help, best answer will of course be rewarded, and thanks again for justifying your answers.
Xbox 360 would be best for you. Xbox has a great marketplace where you can download some of those RPG’s you mentioned right off the Xbox and if you can’t, there are higher chances for those games to be available in stores for the 360 than the PS3. The Xbox 360 probably has more exclusives than the PS3 has a full games library so for the most entertainment of all types the Xbox’s games library would be the best. Some good RPG’s that are for Xbox and not for the PS3 would be Oblivion, Mass Effect, Bioshock. I think Castlevania might be available to download off the marketplace and if you’re unconfortable with giving away your credit card on your Xbox than you can go into stores and buy a points card which you can just redeem on the Xbox and use that to “replace” real money, which PS3 can’t do.
