Many reasons surround the basis why horror movies are enjoyed. Fear is a driving force within any human being, and when forced to make a quick choice, the fight, or flight, feeling must be challenged. This seems to be a primary intention for these films. Watching a scared, pursued, threatened individual, as he, or she, tries to survive, can fill us not only with fear, but also with pride, pleasure, or dread. Continue reading
